Et pour célébrer, Dame Nature nous a offert une fin de semaine chaude et ensoleillée, pleine d'arbres en fleurs et de chants d'oiseaux. Nous en avons profité pour aller faire un petit tour de vélo sur le bord du lac, entrecoupé d'une petite pause gâteries chez Max Brenner. Par le fait même, on a aussi découvert le "Kingston Foreshore", un nouveau petit développement commercial rempli de cafés et de restos sympathiques, et situé juste au bord du lac Burley-Griffin.
Il n'y a rien comme un beau weekend pour nous faire apprécier la chance qu'on a de vivre pour quelques années à Canberra. Vive le printemps!

Spring has officially arrived today! HURRAY!
And to celebrate, Mother Nature gave us a fantastic weekend, filled with sun and warmth, blossoming trees and singing birds. We took the opportunity to go for a little bike ride by the lake, with a sweet pit stop at Max Brenner. And at the same time, we discovered "Kinston Foreshore", a newish area filled with good-looking cafes and restaurants, and located right on lake Burley-Griffin.
Weekends like these make us feel truly lucky to be able to live a few years in Canberra. Yeah for Spring!
