Grief

Pendant nos dernières vacances, sans avertissement, my caméra de grande fille est morte. Je croyais que ce n'était qu'un simple problème de batterie, mais après une consultation rapide dans un magasin de caméra, il semblerait que le problème soit beaucoup plus important. Et puisqu'il n'y a absolument nulle part à Canberra où je peux la faire vérifier correctement (elle devrait être envoyée dans une autre ville pour ça), et bien il n'y a aucune chance qu'elle soit réparée avant notre retour au Canada. Je suis très très triste (et bien embêtée).

During our last holiday, without any warning, my big-girl camera died. At first I thought it was simply a battery problem, but after a quick consultation with a camera shop, it seems like the problem is more important than that. And since there is absolutely nowhere in Canberra where I can get it looked at properly (camera would need to be sent to another city for that), there is no way it can get fixed before we move back home. I am very, very upset (and puzzled with what to do next).
