Snow!!

Ça y est! La première neige est tombée sur Gatineau! Vous imaginez comment le souper s'est déroulé ce soir?

On avait deux petits Australiens pas mal énervés. Dès la dernière bouchée avalée, ils ont insisté pour mettre tous leurs habits tout neufs et sont allés faire des anges et un fort dans le 1cm de neige qui s'était accumulé au sol. Ils sont rentrés les joues rouges et les pieds mouillés, mais tellement heureux. Faut dire que ça faisait longtemps qu'ils l'attendaient cette neige (depuis le 29 juin pour être plus précise, le jour où on a mis les pieds en sol canadien...!).

That's it! The first snow fell on Gatineau tonight! Can you imagine how our dinner went?

We had two very excited little Australians. As soon as they had swallowed their last bite, they insisted on putting on all their new winter gears and went to make snow angels and forts in the 1cm of snow that had accumulated on the ground. They came home with red cheeks and wet feet, and the biggest smile on their face. After all, they have been waiting for this for such a long time (since June 29th to be more precise, the day we landed in Canada...!).
