Exploring: Red Hill

Dimanche dernier, nous sommes allés faire un petit tour dans le parc de Red Hill, située juste en avant de chez-nous.  C'est une petite randonnée très facile, et très courte (à moins de la faire avec une enfant de deux ans qui veut absolument marcher.  bon.), mais qui offre une assez belle vue de la ville une fois au sommet, et la chance de rencontrer de nombreux kangourous, ainsi que plusieurs espèces d'oiseaux.

Il faisait pas mal froid au sommet, mais nous avons eu la bonne surprise d'y trouver un petit café.  On en a donc profité pour aller se réchauffer un peu avec quelques cafés et des collations.  Miam!

 Last Sunday, we went for a little hike in Red Hill Nature Park, which is situated just in front of our door.  It was a very easy and short hike (although, not if you are doing it with a two year old who absolutely has to walk -because she can!-), but the views at the top are pretty nice, and you don't need to be very lucky to encounter a few roos and many different species of colourful birds on your way.

It was rather cold at the top though, so we were pleasantly surprised to find a little café up there.  We went in to warm up with a few coffees and snacks.  Yum!
