Lazy Sunday

Comment était votre fin de semaine?  Ici, c'était tranquille pour une fois.  Nous avons quand même eu un rendez-vous pour des vaccins, reçu des amis pour souper samedi et organisé un "playdate" dimanche matin, mais ça semblait plus tranquille qu'à l'habitude.  Peut-être à cause de la pluie et du temps gris, du feu dans le foyer et de l'odeur de la bonne popote qui cuit, la fin de semaine m'a semblé particulièrement relaxante et j'ai savouré chaque petite minute de tranquillité.

Malheureusement, toute bonne chose à une fin, et la semaine recommence en grand avec notre inspection semi-annuelle...  Aie-je déjà mentionnée à quel point je déteste être locataire?

How was your weekend?  Here, we had a quiet weekend for once.  We did had a round of immunization, hosted friends for dinner on Saturday and organized a playdate on Sunday morning, but it still seemed quieter than usual.  Maybe it was the rain and the grey skies, the fire going and the smell of baking, but this weekend seemed particularly relaxing to me and I enjoyed every minute of peace.

But unfortunately, every good thing has to end, and the week started full steam with our biannual house inspection...  Have I mentioned before how much I dislike renting?
