Movin...

Aujourd'hui, nous avons eu une mauvaise nouvelle: les propriétaires reprennent possession de la maison le 4 janvier prochain.  Nous devons donc quitter notre maison en plein temps des fêtes et au milieu des vacances d'été, et emménager dans une nouvelle maison pour seulement six mois.

Dire qu'on est déçu est faible... Se taper deux déménagements complets dans les prochains 10 mois n'était pas mon scénario idéal pour notre dernière année en Australie et décidément pas comment j'avais envi d'occuper mon congé de maternité. Les souvenirs de tout le travail et tous les problèmes qu'on avait vécu il y a seulement 2 ans et demi sont encore frais. Et puis, on s'était bien attaché à notre chez-nous...

Today, we got bad news: the owners are taking the house back on 4 January. We have to move out in the middle of the holidays and move into a new house for only six months.

We are not happy... Moving twice in the next 10 months was not part of our plan for our last year in Australia, and definitively not how I wanted to occupy my maternity leave. The memories of all the work and all the trouble we had to go through a short 2 and a half years ago are still way too fresh. And of course, we had grown very attached to this home of ours...
