Air freight

Surprise, surprise! Notre cargo aérien est arrivé cet après-midi, ce qui est beaucoup plus tôt qu'on croyait. On était tous super contents (hourra! des jouets! les vélos! une chaise-haute!), jusqu'à ce qu'on se rende compte qu'il manquait deux boîtes: une contenant notre ordinateur et une contenant l'imprimante. 

Pour le moment, on n'a aucune idée où se trouve mon Mac adoré. Sur le Pacifique avec le reste de nos affaires? Dans un entrepôt en Australie? Entre les mains d'un déménageur mal intentionné?  Chose certaine, c'est pas très cool et pas mal embêtant, car on avait réellement besoin de notre ordinateur pour régler plusieurs trucs administratifs importants. 

Du coup, notre petite joie s'est transformée en petit stress, avec une autre affaire qui ne fonctionne juste pas comme on souhaitait. On n'est définitivement pas sur une bonne lancée depuis notre arrivée...

Surprise, surprise! Our air freight arrived this afternoon, which is way earlier than anticipated. We were all super happy (hurray! toys! bikes! a high-chair!) until we realised that two boxes were missing: one containing our computer and one with our printer. 

At the moment, we have no idea where my beloved Mac could be. On the Pacific with the rest of our stuff? In storage in Australia? In the hands of a mean mover? One thing for sure, this is not cool and really annoying, because we truly needed our computer to solve several important administrative issues.

Instantly, our little joy became a little stress, with yet one more thing not going the way we had hoped. We seem to be on a streak of bad luck since we came back...
