Nic a eu la chance de passer la semaine dernière à Wellington, en Nouvelle-Zélande. Évidemment, Nic n'avait traîné aucun appareil-photo, donc on n'a rien vu de son voyage, et vous n'en verrez rien non plus. Mais il nous a tout de même rapporté de belles petites surprises tout à fait kiwis!
Les enfants et moi avons reçus, entre autres, des bas et des mitaines en laine mérino et fourrure d'opossum. La fourrure d'opossum est supposée être plus chaude et légère que la laine mérino et le cachemire. Quoi qu'il en soit, les morceaux sont tous très mignons, doux et confortables, et Mia et moi les aimons beaucoup! Élie, lui, semble tout à fait dégoûté à l'idée de porter des "bas en opossum"... (et porte une paire de bas de coton en dessous pour la photo!)

Nic was lucky enough to spend last week in Wellington, New Zealand. And of course, Nic didn't think about bringing a camera, so we didn't get to see anything of his trip, and so you won't either. But he was nice enough to bring us back nice little kiwi treats!
The kids and I got, among other things, some socks and mittens made from merino wool and possum fur. The possum fur is supposed to be even warmer and lighter than the merino or the cashmere wool. I can't testify whether that is true or not, but they sure are very cute and soft and Mia and I like them very much. Elie, on the other hand, seems totally disgusted by the fact of wearing "socks made out of possum"... (and had to put on a pair of cotton socks underneath for the photo!)
