Le cirque!

Pour nous cette année, noël tombe entre deux déménagements. Et ça, ça veut dire qu'on est bien trop conscient que les enfants ont déjà beaucoup trop de bébelles. Alors pour noël, on a plutôt opté pour une sortie en famille plutôt que des jouets. Et cette sortie, c'était le cirque!

Nous sommes donc allés voir tous ensemble le spectacle Quidam du Cirque du Soleil samedi dernier. C'était superbe, évidemment, et les enfants étaient littéralement assis sur le bout de leur siège tout au long de la représentation. On n'a malheureusement pas eu droit au grand chapiteau jaune et bleu, car le spectacle se tenait dans un aréna, mais il n'y avait que Nic et moi de déçus; les enfants n'avaient aucune idée de quoi on parlait. 

Hourra pour le cirque (québécois!)!

For us this year, Christmas falls in between to house moves. And that means that we are only too aware of the fact that the kids have way too much stuff. So for Christmas this year, we chose to invest in a special family outing instead of toys. And so we went to the circus!

Last Saturday, we all went out to see Quidam from Le Cirque du Soleil. It was awesome, of course, and the kids sat on the edge of their seat for nearly the entire show. Unfortunately, we didn't get to go in the blue and yellow big top, as the show was held in an arena, but only Nic and I were disappointed; the kids had no idea what we were talking about.

Hurray for the (quebecois!) circus!
