Home

In exactly one week, we start our move. One week. That's seven days!

Moving is never fun, but moving when you are forced out of a house you love with three weeks notice is just plain horrible. We are not ready, neither physically nor mentally. We just still can't believe it's happening...

The kids were made aware of the situation pretty much right away (we were very very bad at trying to hide our bad mood...) and we have been talking about the move and how they are feeling about it all quite often since then. One day, I asked them what or where was home for them. Here is Elie's spontaneous answer:

"Home is where mummy and daddy are."

Short silence

"But... since you have to choose a new house, try to get one with a treehouse!"
